The Bible
The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It is God’s universal instruction manual for every human and is the sole authority on salvation and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
One God
There is one indivisible, infinite God. The One God has manifested Himself in the human timeline in various ways; but most notably as the Father (in creation), in His Son Jesus Christ (in redemption), and as the Holy Spirit (indwelling Spirit).
Jesus Christ is the one God manifested in human form. Jesus Christ was fully God and fully human. Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)
Sin and Salvation
Since Adam’s original sin, every person is born with a sinful nature which produces sinful actions. A life of unforgiven sin produces death or eternal separation from God.
Jesus came to bring salvation to sinful humanity and give us eternal life. Salvation comes by grace through saving faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which produces obedience to the Gospel. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Gospel
The gospel or “good news” of the scriptures is that we no longer have to pay the penalty for our sins because Jesus died for us, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day.
Through faith and obedience to the gospel, we repent of our sins, we are baptized in water in Jesus’ Name, and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, with the initial sign of speaking in tongues. This is how we apply the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ to our lives. (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:1; 1Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)
Christian Life
Christians are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, empower the church today to demonstrate the Kingdom of God in the earth. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
The End of the Age
Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. This is an event commonly termed “The Rapture.” There will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
