IGNITE Youth

Ignite means to “catch fire” or “cause to catch fire”.   There are many useful reasons that one may wish to ignite a fire: for light, for food, for warmth, for a signal.

In turbulent and sometimes dark moments of adolescence, IGNITE Youth aims to build and support a close-knit group of young people from around the Kingston area, who carry light in the darkness,  strength for tough times, warmth to the lonely and a message of hope to those struggling to discover who God has created them to be.

There are regularly planned opportunities for young people to connect with each other, build friendships, and develop their own relationship with Jesus Christ, the true light of all of us.

The Youth Room in the Church House is the site for Youth Class on Sundays, as well as viciously friendly ping pong, air hockey, and fooseball competitions.  There is also half-court basketball area on top of the hill for young people shoot hoops with each other.

Awesome and fun Ontario District events are a highlight for the young people such as Winter Youth (February), Youth Convention (May), and Teen Camp (July).

Youth Pastors Kyle and Alyssa Arbeau lead Ignite Youth.
